Processing of personal data

Personal information is information that can be linked to an identifiable individual. Skalar is concerned with protecting and respecting your privacy, and only uses personal information that is relevant and necessary to be able to fulfill our obligations and provide good service to our contacts, as well as personal information that we are required by law according to, among others. a. the Accounting Act.

The processing of personal data, such as collection, registration, storage and disclosure, is subject to special rules. Skalar is responsible for processing, and all personal data is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Act and other regulations for privacy. The Data Inspectorate supervises compliance with the regulations.

Scalar processing of personal data mainly includes contact information, ordering and payment information, as well as correspondence and any other information that is relevant to the purpose of the processing.

 

What do we use the personal information for?

We process the following personal information in the following connection:

  • Delivery of digital solutions. The solutions will process personal data, and there will be separate privacy statements related to the solutions in some cases. Skalar will be the data processor for the customers who use the digital solutions, and the customers will provide information about the processing to users and their customers. 

Sharing of personal information

We do not pass on your personal information to others unless there is a legal basis for such disclosure. Examples of such a basis will typically be an agreement with you or a legal basis that requires us to release the information.

In order to exercise your rights, you must send us written information about what the inquiry is about via the contact form on the website. We will respond to your inquiry to us as soon as possible, and no later than 30 days.

 

We will ask you to confirm your identity or provide additional information before we allow you to exercise your rights against us by enclosing a copy of your passport or other valid identification. We do this to make sure that we only give access to your personal information to you - and not someone who pretends to be you.

 

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking on the link in the newsletter or withdraw your consent for the processing of personal data with us by sending a written inquiry via the contact form.

 

Complaints

If you believe that our processing of personal data does not comply with what we have described here or that we in other ways violate the privacy legislation, then you can complain to the Data Inspectorate.

Used for statistical purposes (Google Analytics). We get information about which pages are most visited, where the users come from, at what times the pages are most visited, etc. Skalar uses anonymizeIP, a function that makes an individual user unidentifiable. Google may transfer the statistics to third parties if required to do so. law or in cases where third parties process the information on behalf of Google.

Share / Forward service

Skalar's Share / Forward service can be used to forward or share articles from Skalar.no on e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Information about this is not logged with us, but is only used there and then to forward the article to the selected e-mail address or the relevant social network. However, we can not guarantee that Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn will not log this information. All such services should therefore be used wisely. If you use the forwarding function, we only use the e-mail addresses provided to forward the message. This happens automatically.
